I started a pharmaceutical software company where I lease out usage of my software to hospitals all over the world. Additionally, I started a property management company that owns vacation rental properties on St. Simons Island.
I am very excited to be teaching at the best school here in Glynn County, GICCA. It is my belief that this school is producing future leaders, inventors, and game changers. It is for this reason, that a moral imperative exists for providing educational experiences to our students so that they can amaze us with the future they invent.
I earned my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Middle Grades Education from Clayton State University with a major in Math and a minor in Social Studies. Graduated with honors in 2007 with a GPA of 3.69
I earned my Masters Degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University with a focus on Instructional Technology. Graduated with honors in 2008 with a GPA of 3.9
I earned my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University with my dissertation topic: Identifying At-risk Students in a Virtual Learning Environment. Graduated with honors in 2014 with a GPA of 3.86

Introduction to Hardware Technology is the foundational course for Information Support & Services, Networking, and Cybersecurity pathways. This course is designed for high school students to understand, communicate, and adapt to a digital world as it impacts their personal lives, society, and the business world. Exposure to foundational knowledge in hardware, IT support, networks, and cybersecurity are all taught in a computer lab with hands-on activities and project-focused tasks.
This course is designed to provide students with the background necessary to understand the local area networking information on workstations and networking. Students will learn the processes involved in designing, implementing, upgrading, managing, and otherwise working with networks and network technologies.
Cybersecurity is designed to provide students the concepts and terminology of cybersecurity. The course explores the field of cybersecurity with updated content including new innovations in technology and methodologies. This course expands into malware threats, cryptography, organizational security, and wireless technologies.
